PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay Wins Fresh Recognition in Singapore’s Luxury Hotel Scene
PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore has secured a place among the city-state’s top hotels in the 2026 Travel + Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific and has made its debut on 50 Best Discovery, adding to its growing international profile for nature-led hospitality.

Singapore’s Marina Bay continues to strengthen its position as one of Asia’s most prominent luxury hospitality destinations, with PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay receiving recognition from two influential names in the international travel industry.

The hotel has been placed at No. 8 among Singapore’s Top 10 Hotels in the 2026 Travel + Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific, marking its third consecutive year on the list. It has also been featured for the first time on 50 Best Discovery, a global platform covering notable hotels, restaurants, bars and vineyards.

The dual recognition places further attention on a property that has built its identity around combining urban luxury with nature, wellness and sustainability.

Located in the heart of Marina Bay, PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay is known as Singapore’s first “Garden-in-a-Hotel”, with a large indoor atrium incorporating thousands of plants and extensive greenery into the guest experience.

The property’s design reflects a broader shift within luxury hospitality, where travellers are increasingly looking beyond conventional five-star service towards experiences that incorporate wellbeing, environmental responsibility and a stronger sense of place.

The hotel’s sustainability concept extends beyond its architecture. Its rooftop Urban Farm produces more than 60 varieties of fruits, vegetables, herbs and edible flowers, supporting its farm-to-table, farm-to-bar and farm-to-spa philosophy.

The property also holds Global Sustainable Tourism Council certification, reflecting standards covering areas including sustainable planning, community benefits, cultural heritage and environmental impact.

For PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, the latest recognition therefore comes as part of an established strategy rather than a standalone marketing achievement.

Travel + Leisure’s 2026 awards are based on votes from readers of Travel + Leisure Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Macau. The programme covers 17 countries and a range of travel categories, with hotel nominations shortlisted by the publication’s editorial team and industry experts before being put to a public vote.

The hotel’s appearance on 50 Best Discovery provides a different form of international exposure. Unlike an annual ranked list, 50 Best Discovery is a curated platform highlighting distinctive hospitality and dining experiences around the world.

PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay is one of only nine Singapore hotels currently represented on the platform, according to the hotel.

General Manager Phil Smith said the recognition reflected the property’s long-standing focus on bringing together nature, design and luxury lifestyle hospitality.

That positioning is increasingly relevant as Singapore develops its reputation not simply as a financial and business centre, but also as a destination where architecture, food, wellness and environmental considerations form part of the visitor experience.

The hotel’s location gives it another advantage, placing guests close to Marina Bay’s major attractions, the central business district and Singapore’s wider cultural and dining scene.

Its hospitality offering has also been supported by recognition for its food and beverage operations, including awards for Peach Blossoms, its modern Chinese restaurant. The restaurant has received recognition from several regional and international dining guides and award programmes.

The latest hotel recognition comes against a competitive Singapore hospitality landscape, where established luxury properties continue to invest heavily in design, dining, wellness and sustainability.

For PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, the distinction is closely tied to a proposition that seeks to make greenery and environmental responsibility part of the hotel experience rather than treating sustainability as a separate initiative.

That combination of Marina Bay location, biophilic design, dining and wellness gives the property a distinctive place within Singapore’s increasingly sophisticated luxury travel market.

As international travellers place greater emphasis on meaningful experiences and responsible tourism, the hotel’s latest recognition also illustrates how sustainability is becoming increasingly integrated into the definition of contemporary luxury.
