Future of Work Symposium 2026: KL Leaders Convene on AI, Productivity and Organisational Transformation

AI is reshaping jobs, dismantling familiar workforce structures and forcing businesses to rethink productivity. For Malaysian leaders, the risk is no longer simply falling behind on technology, but discovering too late that their people, skills and business models are no longer fit for the future.

Future of Work Symposium 2026: KL Leaders Convene on AI, Productivity and Organisational Transformation
The AI revolution is moving beyond automation to reshape entire organisations. Malaysian CEOs, CFOs and CHROs face a growing challenge: adapt how work is done and talent is developed, or risk losing competitiveness in an economy where standing still may be the costliest decision.
KUALA LUMPUR — As artificial intelligence moves rapidly from experimentation into core business operations, Malaysian leadership teams are being urged to rethink how work is designed, how productivity is measured and how talent is developed for an AI-enabled economy.

The Future of Work Symposium, held under the #RebuildingHumanity Forum, will bring together CEOs, CFOs, CHROs and senior decision-makers for a focused discussion on the strategic implications of AI for jobs, workforce capability, organisational design and business performance.

Convened by 27 Advisory in collaboration with Optimal Insights, the symposium features perspectives from leaders associated with Capital A, TalentCorp, Taylor’s Education Group and U Mobile —offering insight from aviation and digital business, national talent development, education, connectivity and workforce transformation.

The event takes place on Thursday, 15 October 2026, from 9.30am to 2.30pm at Plaza Damansara, Kuala Lumpur.

For CEOs, the discussion centres on building organisations that can translate AI investment into competitive advantage while retaining strategic clarity, customer relevance and institutional resilience. For CFOs, it addresses the commercial imperative: where AI can improve decision quality, operational productivity and capital efficiency—and how leaders should evaluate the financial return of workforce and technology transformation. For CHROs, the symposium provides a timely platform to examine job redesign, capability development, leadership readiness and the human systems required to make AI adoption work.

The programme is especially relevant as organisations navigate a critical transition: AI is not simply automating isolated tasks but reshaping roles, management structures, learning models and the relationship between people, technology and performance.
