DA NANG – Hyatt Regency Danang Resort and Spa is strengthening its position as a sports tourism destination with the launch of new racquet sports facilities and a nine hole mini golf course, reflecting the growing popularity of active travel among families and recreational athletes.

The latest additions include The Courts, a new sports precinct featuring pickleball, padel and tennis courts developed in partnership with local sports community Tag_Fitness. The facilities cater to players of all abilities, from beginners looking to learn the game to experienced competitors seeking high quality playing conditions.

The investment comes as destinations across Asia increasingly incorporate sporting experiences into their tourism offerings, recognising the demand for holidays that combine fitness, recreation and wellness.

Beyond racquet sports, the resort has introduced a nine hole mini golf course designed for guests of all ages, creating another activity that encourages families to spend time together while remaining active. Set within landscaped tropical surroundings, the course complements the resort's extensive beachfront recreation options.

Young athletes have also been catered for with dedicated junior football and basketball courts, together with a children's climbing wall designed to build confidence, coordination and teamwork through sport.

The expanded facilities add to an already impressive sporting portfolio that includes squash, indoor golf simulators, kayaking, beach games and water sports along Non Nuoc Beach. Guests can also access fitness and wellness programmes designed to support active lifestyles throughout their stay.

For golfers, the resort also serves as a convenient base to experience the internationally recognised golf courses surrounding Da Nang, one of Southeast Asia's premier golfing destinations.

While sport is a central focus, the resort has integrated its active lifestyle concept with family entertainment through Camp Hyatt, children's educational programmes, interactive gaming facilities and wellness experiences at VIE Spa, allowing visitors to balance competition with relaxation.

The resort has also continued its sustainability initiatives by eliminating single use plastic water bottles from its residences and villas through water filtration systems, alongside the use of biodegradable packaging, sustainable dining options and energy efficient practices.

As sports tourism continues to grow across the region, Hyatt Regency Danang's latest investment highlights how hotels are evolving beyond traditional accommodation to become destinations where sport, wellness and family experiences play an equally important role in attracting international travellers.
