Chinese business-to-business marketplace Made-in-China.com is stepping up its digital expansion in Southeast Asia, unveiling a suite of artificial intelligence powered sourcing tools and industrial grade 3D modelling technology aimed at helping manufacturers streamline procurement and improve supply chain efficiency.

The company showcased its latest innovations at Manufacturing Expo 2026 in Bangkok, one of ASEAN's largest industrial trade exhibitions, as manufacturers across the region accelerate their adoption of digital technologies in line with Thailand's Industry 4.0 transformation strategy.

Among the technologies introduced were SourcingAI, an artificial intelligence platform designed to simplify supplier matching and procurement, and an industrial grade 3D modelling system that enables buyers to inspect products virtually before placing orders.

The digital tools are intended to reduce sourcing time, improve purchasing decisions and facilitate cross border trade by providing businesses with more accurate product information and enhanced supplier verification.

Southeast Asia has emerged as one of the world's fastest growing manufacturing hubs, driven by rising foreign investment, supply chain diversification and the continued expansion of industries such as automotive, electronics, machinery and precision engineering.

Thailand, in particular, has positioned advanced manufacturing and industrial digitalisation as key pillars of its Thailand 4.0 economic strategy, encouraging businesses to adopt automation, artificial intelligence and smart manufacturing technologies to enhance productivity and competitiveness.

Made-in-China.com said the new technologies are designed to support these ambitions by enabling buyers and suppliers to conduct transactions more efficiently while reducing the costs associated with traditional procurement processes.

The company also highlighted the growing importance of digital sourcing platforms as global manufacturers continue to diversify production networks and seek resilient supply chain partners across Asia.

Manufacturing Expo 2026 attracted thousands of exhibitors and buyers from across the region, providing a platform for companies to showcase the latest advances in robotics, automation, industrial software, precision engineering and digital manufacturing solutions.

As competition intensifies among digital trade platforms, investments in artificial intelligence and immersive product technologies are increasingly being viewed as key differentiators, allowing businesses to shorten procurement cycles, improve transparency and strengthen confidence in cross border sourcing.

For Southeast Asian manufacturers, the adoption of AI enabled procurement tools is expected to play an increasingly important role as companies modernise operations and build more agile and resilient supply chains to serve both regional and global markets.
