Nippon Paint China debuts at ARCHIDEX 2026 with focus on sustainable building solutions
Nippon Paint China has made its debut at ARCHIDEX 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, showcasing advanced coating technologies designed to improve energy efficiency, sustainable construction and smart manufacturing across Southeast Asia.
KUALA LUMPUR – Nippon Paint China has made its first appearance at ARCHIDEX 2026, using Southeast Asia's leading architecture and building exhibition to introduce advanced coating technologies aimed at supporting greener buildings, smarter manufacturing and more sustainable urban development.
Held from 29 July to 1 August at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), the exhibition brought together architects, developers, engineers and construction professionals from across the region. Nippon Paint China exhibited in the China Exhibition Zone, presenting solutions developed for industrial, commercial and residential applications.
The company organised its showcase around four key themes: Smart Manufacturing, Air Purification, Energy Saving and Carbon Reduction, and High Quality Housing. The technologies were designed to address growing regional demand for construction materials that improve building performance while supporting sustainability goals.
Among the highlights were the Energy Saving Radiative Cooling Coating and the Dual Core Aerogel Energy Saving System, both developed for hot climates and energy intensive facilities. The company said the radiative cooling technology can lower building temperatures without additional power consumption, while trials on a 10,000 square metre factory roof in Shanghai reduced monthly cooling energy use by nearly 25 per cent.
For residential and public buildings, Nippon Paint China also presented its Integrated Decorative Waterproofing System, NAYAOJING Photocatalytic Coating, Energy Saving Integrated Decorative Panels and Acoustic Flooring System. For advanced manufacturing facilities, the company showcased an anti static PU mortar flooring system designed for electronics manufacturing, automated warehousing and new energy industries.
Chief Operating Officer Dragon Sun said successful international expansion requires more than simply exporting products, stressing that supply chains, technical expertise and local service capabilities must develop together to support customers effectively.
Backed by the NIPSEA Group's network of 26 manufacturing facilities across ASEAN, Nippon Paint China said it is well positioned to support commercial, residential, industrial and infrastructure projects throughout the region. The company's participation at ARCHIDEX reflects its strategy of connecting technologies developed in China with Southeast Asia's rapidly growing construction and manufacturing sectors.
As governments and developers across Southeast Asia continue to embrace green building standards and energy efficient construction, Nippon Paint believes advanced coating technologies will play an increasingly important role in improving building performance while reducing environmental impact.
