Kuala Lumpur - The IMPACT Summit 2026 concluded on a high note at the Connexion Conference & Event Centre (Nexus Bangsar South), bringing together nearly 250 delegates, including healthcare leaders, policymakers, innovators, human resources professionals, and industry experts, for a day of impactful dialogue, collaboration, and forward-thinking solutions.

Co-chaired by Dr. Bryan Mok (MD) and Dr. Thiviya Gill (PhD), the summit served as a dynamic platform to address some of the most pressing challenges in healthcare today, with a strong focus on prevention, integrated care, and sustainable health systems.

Themed around driving meaningful change in healthcare, the summit featured over 35 distinguished speakers across multiple panel discussions and keynote sessions. Conversations spanned critical topics including the shift from reactive “sick care” to proactive “health care,” strategies for combating non-communicable diseases (NCDs), public health, innovations in health service delivery, data stewardship, and the importance of coordinated care across all levels of the healthcare ecosystem including the growing role of employers and HR leaders in shaping workplace health and wellbeing.

Speakers and panellists shared insights on aligning payors, providers, policymakers, and employers to create a more cohesive and patient-centred system.

“We are incredibly encouraged by the high-level engagement and the quality of discussions that took place throughout the full-day summit,” said Dr. Bryan Mok, Co-Chair of the IMPACT Summit Organising Committee. “IMPACT Summit 2026 Kuala Lumpur has demonstrated that meaningful collaboration across sectors including healthcare and human resource leadership, is not only possible, but critical in driving healthcare reforms and building a resilient, forward-looking healthcare system.”

Dr. Thiviya Gill, Co-Chair, added, “This summit is more than just a gathering, it is a movement towards rethinking how we approach healthcare. By bringing together leaders and decision-makers, we are strengthening the bridge between healthcare service delivery and people’s wellbeing. The conversations sparked here will continue to drive action, innovation, and partnerships beyond today.”

The summit also provided valuable networking opportunities, fostering connections among stakeholders committed to transforming healthcare delivery and outcomes in Malaysia and the region, complemented by strong on-ground engagement through interactive healthcare booths, innovations, health screenings, awareness and education initiatives, tailored corporate health packages, as well as exciting lucky draws.
